In browsing through our inventory, you will see special symbols that indicate whether a product is recycled, certified by the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED credits, or has obtained other qualified green certifications, including Ecoabel, ICEA, CEN-KENMARK, the Green Building Council Italia (LEED Italia), and Bureau Veritas.

We buy from companies with a similar commitment and strict standards of environmental awareness. Ideal Tile has committed to choosing vendors & partners whose production practices pursue the goal of cutting enviormental impact by implementing such green strategies as below:

- process water is completely recycled and reused by means of a closed-loop system in the production process so that no hazardous water is released into the environment;

-depleted stone quarries are transformed into fish-stocked lakes and, through the replanting of indigenous flora, disrupted natural habitats are fully restored.

- gas emissions are overseen by relevant local authorities and are processed by the latest and most sophisticated systems for the elimination of pollutants;

- processing waste is managed as part of the production process so that 100% of raw material is exploited;

- acoustic impact of production machinery on the external environment is mitigated by the use of the latest and most effective systems for noise abatement and insulation;

- waste heat recovery systems are implemented to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels;

- natural products are quarried that create little waste and undergo minimal processing from mine to building site.

- waste packaging is sent for recycling and reuse; sales and marketing materials are produced from recyclable materials sourced from well-managed forests.

-all green strategies are certified and documented by globally recognized environmental bodies and those certificates are readily available to the public.
